Professor Dr Bernd MAHR visited CIIT Islamabad Campus

Professor Dr Bernd MAHR from Technical University, Berlin who was participating in a seminar titled” Pakistani and German Universities-Joining Forces for a Better Future” held in Islamabad on 29-31 October, made a special visit to COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT) Campus, Chak Shahzad on Sunday, the 31st October, 2010. He visited various laboratories and library. Rector CIIT and Professor MAHR discussed future programmes of cooperation between CIIT and TU, Berlin. Dr Amir Haider Malik, Foreign Faculty Professor, Mr. Manfred Hake, Senior Expert from SES, Germany and senior officials of ILO were also present on the occasion. Prof MAHR, it may be recalled, has research interests in Logic, Specification, Al, Mathematical and Conceptual Foundations of Computer Science, Model and Image Theory, and International Cooperation. click here for pictures...
